Wanted to see San Francisco popular places and this apartment was decent base for exploring most of them. Room was upgraded and complete with a fabulous view, good clean beds, as example - it was really great. We could enjoy views of the sunset. Location was stunning and particularly good, very close to the beach.

The location of Downtown Rooms San Pancho was incredible, just a few hundred meters from the beach. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The AC and fan provided a refreshing breeze. Check-in was easy and convenient, with a friendly and responsive host. The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive. Despite a few minor issues like a broken towel rack and poor wifi, overall I would highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in San Pancho.

There were a few negative aspects as well. there were some issues with the check-in process, as the host was not present upon arrival and could not be reached.

The main doorway was a bit difficult to open, and I had to wiggle the key to get it just right. The doors to the rooms were frosted glass, so some hallway light did come through, which could be bothersome for light sleepers.

This place was perfect for my trip to San Francisco, I was really happy staying here for three nights and I didn't want to leave.
